At 7:30 a.m. on November 9, the 2025 Hefei Marathon officially kicked off at Luogang Park. A total of 25,000 runners started their race from the “Dream Lawn.”

According to DaWan News reporters, in the early hours of the morning, Hefei police officers and auxiliary police were all in position, fully prepared. Around the race route and at the starting line, safety inspections, traffic guidance, obstacle clearance, and patrol duties were quietly and efficiently carried out.

Inside and outside the racecourse, Hefei police were “running” in another way — more than 1,400 police officers and over 3,000 security personnel worked side by side, escorting the marathon throughout the event and ensuring the safety and order of this major urban occasion.
