The 2025 Hefei Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025. The event will feature three categories: the Full Marathon, the Half Marathon, and a 2 km Parent-Child category 

The lottery results for the waiting list were announced at 10:00 AM on September 15, and payment is now open for successful applicants.

Those who have secured a spot can now upload their medical examination reports.

2. Half Marathon: 15,000 participants

• Marathon: 21,783 applicants, with a 42% success rate
• Half Marathon: 67,984 applicants, with a 19% success rate
• Fun Run: 30,115 applicants, with a 16% success rate

Event Overview:

The Hefei Marathon, first held in 2014, is the official marathon of Anhui Province’s capital city. Over the years, it has been successfully organized eight times, becoming a major sports event that showcases Hefei’s urban vitality.

The race route passes through several iconic landmarks, including Luogang Park, Tangxi River Park, Anhui Innovation Pavilion, Crossing-the-Yangtze River Campaign Memorial Hall, and Binhu National Forest Park.

This year’s event expects a total of 30,000 participants, making it one of the largest and most anticipated marathons in central China.
