Among the names on the list, Hefei has once again drawn attention for its growing number of successful entrepreneurs — and at the top of this local group stands Cao Renxian and his wife, Su Lei.

Cao Renxian and Su Lei, founders of Sungrow Power Supply Co., have become the richest individuals in Hefei in 2025. With a remarkable personal fortune of 67.5 billion yuan, they rank 76th in the entire country. Even more notably, they are the only entrepreneurs based in Anhui Province who are listed within China’s top 100 richest individuals.

Sungrow, headquartered in Hefei, is one of the world’s leading providers of solar inverters and clean energy equipment.
